Dr. Amelia Barber receives the ECMM Young Investigator Travel Award
As part of the 8th Trend in Medical Mycology (TIMM) Congress in Belgrade, Serbia, Dr. Amelia Barber from the research group Fungal Septomics was awarded the ECMM Young Investigator Travel Award (1,000 EUR prize money) for her research work on incidence and mechanisms of azole resistance in Aspergillus fumigatus.
The European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM) awards this prize to young researchers working in the field of medical mycology to attend the Trends in Medical Mycology Congress or to make study visits to medical mycology oriented departments or institutions in other European countries. In total, the ECMM awards 4 travel awards.
