Poster prize at 14th European Conference on Fungal Genetics

At the 14th European Conference on Fungal Genetics, Enrico Garbe, PhD student of the JRG Host Fungal Interfaces (Head: Dr. Slavena Vylkova), was awarded a poster prize for his research on the role of the transcription factor Stp2 in Candida albicans virulence. We congratulate for this outstanding performance!

The international conference took place from 25-28 February 2018 in Haifa, Israel and looked all important aspects of fungal genetics, linking cell signalling and gene expression, genome sequences and molecular evolution, and interactions with hosts and symbiotic partners.
