Prof. Dr. Hortense Slevogt elected to the advisory board of the DGI

The head of the AG Host Septomics, Prof. Dr. Hortense Slevogt, has been elected to the seven-member advisory board of the German Society for Infectious Diseases (DGI). The DGI represents the field of human medicine in clinic, practice and research. In the scientific field, it strives to establish interdisciplinary cooperation between clinical and theoretical subjects.
Prof. Slevogt has been head of the Host Septomics working group since February 2011 and has been working as an internist and infectiologist in the Department of Pneumology & Allergology/Immunology at the Clinic for Internal Medicine of the UKJ since 2017. Her election to the DGI advisory board further strengthens translational infection and sepsis research at the ZIK Septomics.
